It began with 32 companies vying for their place in planning a compelling design for low-impact development.

And now, the San Antonio Low-Impact Development Design competition — aka, the Green Olympics, is down to 8 finalists.

The Green Olympics is being presented by the San Antonio Land/Water Sustainability Forum and the San Antonio River Authority (SARA). The goal of the competition has been to increase awareness among the area’s design and development communities about the economic, environmental and quality-of-life benefits that can be gained through low-impact development (LID).
