UT Energy Poll – Understanding Public Perceptions of Energy to Inform Policymakers and Stakeholders

The UT Energy Poll seeks to provide an objective, authoritative look at consumer attitudes and perspectives on key energy issues. It is designed to help inform national discussion, business planning and policy development. The new initiative involved in understanding public perceptions of energy to inform policymakers and various stakeholders–including you. The fifth wave of The University of Texas at Austin Energy Poll was conducted between September 5 and 23, 2013, among 2,144 U.S. residents aged 18 and over. Figures for age, sex, race/ethnicity, education, region and household income were weighted where necessary to bring them into line with their actual proportions in the population.
